Replacement Gasket for Vintage 4 Qt 8 Inch Revere Ware Pressure Cookers Overview

These are replacement gaskets for vintage era Revere Ware 4-quart (8 inch) pressure cookers. These gaskets are newly manufactured and are made specifically for Revere Ware 4 qt vintage pressure cookers.

Material: Food grade silicone rubber

Includes: Gasket only

Measurements: 8 in (200mm) in diameter, 0.59 in (16mm) thick.

Fits: Vintage era 8 inch 4 quart pressure cookers. See pictures below to make sure yours looks like them.This gasket will only fit the older 4 quart pressure cooker. This gasket will not fit newer 4 quart and 6 quart pressure cookers characterized by the heavy metal pressure regulator made to look like a Revere Ware knob.

Replaces: The original Revere part was called "cover gasket part no. 600".

Troubleshooting: If steam is escaping around the gasket, make sure it is inserted. If it is in upside down, it will not seal correctly.

According to the manual for these pressure cookers, another cause of leakage could come from water between the gasket and the lid. Before inserting the gasket in the lid for use, make sure both the gasket and the lid are dry.
